Uncastillo is a walled village that had one castle from which its name is derived. In the 14th Century a wall of the castle was taken down to make a mansion but this was dismantled later. The keep was rebuilt in the 20th Century and it now houses a museum. It is possible to climb to the top of the keep. The village also has several interesting churches and the carvings above the church door of Santa Maria should not be missed.
