Standing on the site of a former mosque, Valencia Cathedral dates from 1262, but it has been added to and modified over the centuries. The main entrance is Baroque, the Apostles` Door is Gothic, whilst the Palace Door is Romanesque. Inside the cathedral, a chapel holds what is claimed to be the Holy Grail, from which Christ drank at the Last Supper. It is said to have been brought to Spain in the 3rd Century. There is also a museum.
