The Valencian Institute of Modern Art is the city`s museum of contemporary art, and in this modern building is a permanent collection of 20th Century art. In the museum is a gallery of the work by Julio Gonzalez, a major 20th Century sculptor. Another permanent collection is the work by Ignacio Pinazo. There are also temporary exhibitions in all art forms, including photography. One of the galleries incorporates a section of the old city wall.
