Vigo Zoo was established in the early 1970s and here you will find a collection of animals from all over the world. These include lions, tigers, bears, zebras, llama and bison. There is an aviary. You can also see many species of insects as well as arachnids, amphibians and reptiles. During the summer there are butterflies. The zoo also has a planetarium and the facilities include a cafe and shop.
