Zamora Cathedral was built in the 12th Century and its most striking feature is the Byazantine inspired dome. The south front has a blind arcade and a Romanesque door. The cloister was rebuilt in the 17th Century. Inside, there are richly decorated chapels in different styles, an altarpiece by Fernando Gallego, two 15th Century Mudejar pulpits and 16th Century grilles. Carved by Juan de Bruselas, the Renaissance choir stalls are decorated with biblical figures and allegorical scenes.
